Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is known for playing Heidi in Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009) and Sweet Pea from Sucker Punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) as well as Sarah in Geostorm(2017). The actress has also collaborated with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. Cornish received her very first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast of this film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and many other movies was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin was able to make the choice to be an actor because of her love and encouragement she was given by her parents. Fordham College became her choice to attend college because it allowed her to develop and develop the abilities she would need to become an professional actor. Following graduation, Gilpin started acting in Off-Broadway shows while auditioning for roles in TV and film. The actress was cast as a frequent character on the NBC show Law & Order: Criminal Intent between 2001 and 2011. This was followed by tiny roles as a ghost in Ghost Town and The Northern Kingdom. Gilpin continued to land mostly TV guest spots in the subsequent years before she got her first break in 2013, for the part of Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was a part of Nurse Jackie for 34 seasons as the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin before the show ended on June 15th, 2015. Gilpin was as well in True Story (2015), the thriller mystery.
