Annette Funicello measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Annette Funicello danced in an amateur production in Fullerton, California of Swan Lake when Walt Disney was introduced to her. The teenager was just 13 at that at the time. In spite of the opposition of her Mickey Mouse Club co-stars, Funicello became a part of the cast during the first season, and wasn't needed to be auditioned for. Disney did the right thing since she swiftly rose to become The Mickey Mouse Club's highest performers, and she even had her own Adventures in Dairyland storyline. Funicello's potential as a teenage star was quickly realized. Disney hired Tutti Camerata, a well-established arranger, to help her launch her music career. Annette, however, was not a fan of Funicello singing. Funicello was comfortable recording records, and she was delighted to work with Camerata. Camerata was among a handful of 40-year-old arrangers at the time who understood the fundamentals of early rock. Annette Sings Anka is the album that marked the beginning of her improvement. This was possibly the very first rock-song LP. Funicello was the star of Beach Party, one of five films about beach parties which were hugely successful. Usually co-starring Frankie Avalon, these films are made by AIP but the scripts for each movie have been individually approved and read by Walt Disney to maintain Annette's pure appearance. Funicello's films were instrumental in breaking the mold of other musicians. Stevie Wonder starred in Muscle Beach Party.
