Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. The girl was adopted at the age of 3 by her maternal grandmother living in slums. The parents she adopted are American white with military training as well as her mother who is Filipino. She claims she and the adopted brother that she was with were subject to abuse by the adoptive parents since her childhood until she joined the military. The family lived with her uncle at San Francisco for several months prior to moving back home Texas on her 13th birthday in the wake of the need of her father to undergo bypass surgery. Though the physical violence stopped, she claims to have experienced emotional assault from her father at her home. She joined the United States Navy at age 18. Poarch began her TikTok page in April 2020. In just 8 months, she had amassed over 40 million followers. Her videos were uploaded in a variety of formats, however her most popular hit was the video she made for MillieB's cult hit track Soph Aspin Send. The video that was zoomed in of her dancing and singing to the song went viral and it became one of the most-viewed TikTok video clips of all time. When she first joined TikTok and gained fame, Poarch started up a YouTube channel as well as a Twitter account. Poarch hit her highest point of fame in December 2020. According to the reports, she piqued two professional Esports teams' interest.
